WHAT THE CLIENT WANTS?
Help him improve the wireframe of one of his ideas that is sponsoring an event to get your brand promoted.
WHAT PROBLEM?
The wireframe lacks an integrated overview of the whole process: It only shows the steps of sponsoring an event, but what can sponsors get from the app? How can the app help promote brands? etc. According to the talk with the client, I get clarified of some basic concepts:
- How does the app help promote brands?
- What and how many stakeholders are involved in this process?
- What do stakeholders input into and get from the app?
- What are the sources of the events to be sponsored?
- Why people would like to use this app?
- ...
SCENARIOS AND STORYBOARDS
The basic idea of this app is that event sponsors can get a chance to spread their brands and coupons by the power of events and social media, through this process, event holders can get sponsorship, and event attenders can get good coupons. Due to the background of my client (no IT background), I mainly used the storyboards and scenarios to dig out his requirements.
